Composites Research and Commercialization Centre

An investment from Wester Economic Diversification has allowed the purchase of a wide range of equipment for the creation and testing of composite materials at the University of Manitoba.  This program is lead by Dr. Jayaraman and involves Dr. Freund as a co-investigator.  This investment has resulted in the purchase of several synthetic tools in our lab including a temperature controlled centrifuge, a grinder an a number of other items that are important for preparing composites containing conducting polymers.

The scale-up of synthetic methods for creating conducting polymers requires reactors, centrifuges, grinders and drying ovens.
